By joining our District One Equipment Section as a Automotive Parts Specialist in McCracken County, you’ll have the opportunity to perform stockroom duties associated with the inventory, procurement, and payment of parts and supplies for an automotive or equipment repair facility; performs other duties as required.
Holders of the Automotive Parts Specialist position will complete tasks such as:
- Performs stockroom duties within an automotive or equipment repair facility.
- Purchases, receives, stores, and distributes parts, supplies, materials and tools for the maintenance and repair of various types of automotive equipment.
- Maintains adequate inventory of items stored in stock room area, and physically perform annual inventories.
- Prepares records and reports relating to the operations of the stock room.
- Learns communication skills
- Experience in basic computer skills
- Organizational skills
